From gourmet dining to water gardens, Cheshire has something to offer everyone. Primrose Cottage is also near to Oulton Park, which hosts a diverse range of motor sports.

The picture above is of Jodrell Bank Observatory where you can visit the museum and listen for messages from across the galaxy.

The Chester Visitor Centre is a good place to start your visit, you'll find everything from tickets to a transport information as well as a cafe and virtual tour of Chester where you can 'fly' around the city in cyberspace.

Cheshire Days Out publish a guide to the area with money off coupons to various visitor attractions. Consult their website's calendar for a guide to forthcoming events. Primrose Cottage is also within 1/2 hour of Stoke on Trent with it's famous potteries and attractions including Alton Towers.

There are many parks and gardens in the area including the well known Arley Hall & Gardens and Tatton Park. Visit historical homes at Gawsworth Hall, Little Moreton Hall and Rode Hall or head up to Beeston & Peckforton Castles. If you are around Beeston Castle don't forget the Candle Factory and Ice Cream shop! Round off the day with a drink or meal at The Pheasant Inn and enjoy the stunning countryside views.
